Cardinal George created the Quigley Scholars Program in 2007 to support young men in the Archdiocese of Chicago who want to learn more about the priesthood.
Quigley Scholars are high school students who like to serve others, are involved in their parish and are serious about their studies. The program is open to young men in both public and Catholic high schools (at any level) as well as those who are homeschooled.
The Scholars attend a formational meeting once a month either at Saint Joseph College Seminary or Mundelein Seminary from September through April. They pray together, attend Mass, have dinner and attend a small-group faith sharing session with the seminarians.
This program is made possible through the generosity of donors connected to the 101-year history of the Archbishop Quigley high school seminary system.
